:: Maximising 2019 - 2020 Sixth Form funding: preparing to complete the post-16 autumn census correctly ::
The aim of the session is to provide schools with the opportunity to work on preparation for this year’s October census, to ensure they claim 100% of the Sixth Form funding they are entitled to in 2019/20. The session will support Sixth Form leads and senior staff on the key data requirements of the census submission and review the control procedures that need to be in place to ensure error levels are kept to a minimum. Suki Gill and Jim Borcherds will be on hand to provide up-to-date feedback on funding implications, key data errors and to provide answers to frequently asked questions. Please note: This training will not be repeated before the completion of the autumn census.
By attending the session, participants will:
  • understand the implications of the census data to the final 16-19 funding in 2019/20
  • understand the data required for the census, and how to sense check and quality assure the data in order to avoid data errors
  • review how post-16 staff work together to ensure the correct learner/course data is entered to claim 100% funding
