This twilight will explore current research on the development of boys and challenge gender stereotyping. Guidance will be given on developing an inclusive learning environment that will enable boys to thrive so that they maximise their potential.
Outcomes:
By attending the course, participants will:
  • learn about current research on boys' development
  • reflect on current practice and identify potential barriers to progress
  • consider practical strategies to promote boys' progress, including creating an enabling environment that challenges gender stereotypes to ensure inclusive practice
