Outline
This course will look at the primary computing curriculum in the context of the National Curriculum. There will be opportunities for delegates to look at the programmes of study followed within their own settings and review this against models of good practice as shared during the session.
Prerequisites
Please bring an outline of the computing curriculum / scheme that you follow in your school. You may wish to bring a memory stick so that you can take away the digital resources shared during the session.
Outcomes:
By attending the course participants will:
  • look at the HfL Primary Computing Scheme as a model of good practice
  • develop a clear understanding of different elements of a balanced primary computing curriculum
  • review the programmes of study within their setting
