Outline
Parents are a child's first educator and it is essential to engage them in their child's learning. This course will explore practical ways to engage, involve and support parents.
Outcomes:
By attending the session, participants will:
  • explore successful strategies to promote the sharing of information with parents to support children's learning, achievement and progress
  • investigate practical ways to improve parents' and carers' impact on their children's learning and development at home
  • share ideas of the use of the EYPP in supporting disadvantaged children and families
