Outline
This twilight course will support practitioners to explore a range of innovative and practical ideas to motivate and develop children's early communication and language when learning outdoors.
Prerequisites
Delegates should bring a learning journal for one child in their school or setting - permissions will be required as appropriate.
Outcomes:
By attending the training, participants will:
  • review the wealth of opportunities that the outdoors provides to maximise early language skills
  • understand how talk can be effectively promoted in the outdoor learning environment
  • gain ideas to engage in practical experiences to inspire them with ideas to take back to their settings
