:: SIMs Dinner Money for new users ::
Outline
This course is designed for new users to SIMS Dinner Money 7. It will help participants manage and maintain dinner money and provide reports for both the school kitchen and parents, via an auditable system. The course will cover many of the tasks that have to be undertaken, such as recording the collection of dinner money and generating the banking forms. The course will also cover how to produce kitchen statistics, statements for pupil meals and current balances. A second delegate from the same school, sharing a computer, will be charged a discounted rate. HfL has allocated six discounted places for schools sending a second delegate, on a first-come, first-served basis.
Outcomes:
By attending the course, participants will:
as a new user, explore the functionality of the software
as a current user, refresh knowledge in order to use the software fully
learn how to record payment and banking, including electronic income, and deal with transactions, refunds, balance transfers and bounced cheques
explore day-to-day recording of meals, including pupil choice, universal free meals and free school meals
run reports and tailor letters to school requirements
