Outline
Following a number of recent requests, we have developed this new half-day workshop to help develop greater skills and confidence in delivering presentations to audiences. This session will include a number of practical exercises, applying skills and tips, together with the opportunity to practise in a safe learning environment.
Prerequisites
Delegates should select a topic of their choice that can be used on the day to help practice their skills in a safe environment
Outcomes:
By attending the session, participants will:
  • learn and practice ways to prepare themselves as a presenter
  • understand different learning styles and communication preferences
  • consider ways to construct presentations to aid delivery of their key information
  • use techniques to connect with an audience, creating an environment where their presentation grabs and keeps the audience's attention
  • apply positive learnings back at their school in how to deliver their next presentations
