Outline
This brand-new workshop has been developed by recruitment specialists, with only our schools in mind. The first of two sessions will focus on all elements of recruitment to support schools in attracting, selecting and recruiting the best talent. The session will guide delegates through the recruitment process, all the way up to appointing a candidate, covering topics such as generating interest in an advert, shortlisting and selection. The session will prepare delegates for challenges that they may face along the way and provide practical tips in dealing with such challenges. The skills gained from this workshop will also help to protect against any claims made against the school, from complaints of unfairness to discrimination.

Outcomes:
By attending the session, participants will:
  • be able to design adverts ensuring maximum optimisation
  • be able to identify and use the most appropriate recruitment and selection methods
  • understand the legal context of recruitment and selection

  • effectively contribute to the interview and selection process
