Outline
This course provides an essential introduction to effective classroom practice for teaching assistants. During the session, delegates will explore the latest research on how to maximise the impact of their support and share good practice with colleagues from other schools. Practical strategies will be introduced that can be used with pupils across the primary and secondary phase. The course will develop delegates skills and confidence in building positive working relationships with teachers and enable them to support pupils to make good progress.
Prerequisites
This short day course includes a light working lunch.

By attending the course, participants will:
