:: Science assessment moderation cluster for Key Stage 1 ::
Outline
This cluster meeting will give teachers an opportunity to discuss their evidence for Key Stage 1 (KS1) science teacher assessment with other teachers and science advisers. This will be particularly useful in identifying any gaps in pupils' skills and understanding that need to be addressed before the final assessments are made. We recommend that teachers bring evidence for a pupil who they expect to achieve the expected standard at the end of KS1, and for a pupil who they expect to be working above the expected standard. Teachers will also be able to explore exemplification materials and creative examples of how pupils can demonstrate their understanding in science. If you book two places, the second one will be half price - discount applies to science assessment moderation clusters for Key Stage 1, Lower Key Stage 2 and Upper Key Stage 2 only.
