:: A lean office? The challenge to drive efficiencies by doing things differently ::
Outline
The afternoon session will start with a networking lunch following the morning briefing, enabling delegates to share and embed learnings. The workshop session will follow and will be an interactive session, to introduce the delegate to the concept of LEAN processes, and how this applies to the school setting. Delegates will examine examples of 'spotting waste' in existing processes using real examples experienced in the school setting. The session will explore the challenge 'to do things differently' to drive efficiencies, streamline processes and reduce time wasting to the benefit of the individual, school and pupils.
Outcomes:
By attending the session, participants will:
  • network with colleagues after the briefing
  • learn the concept of LEAN processes and how this applies to schools
  • identify 'waste' in existing practice through analysis of shared experience and discussion
