Outline
Delivered by the head of business management services, key leaders within Herts for Learning, and other external agencies, this session will provide updates on school business management-related topics. The format of the session will be a short presentation on current issues relating to the business aspects of running a school, followed by an in-depth presentation and group discussion on a specific topic. The session is for colleagues working in areas such as finance, HR, computing, premises and administration. Welcome beverages are available from 9am; please come along and use this time to network, before the briefing starts at 9.15am. If you are unable to attend the briefing ‘in person’ this time we continue to offer remote access following the a successful trial where colleagues said: ‘The remote access was very simple and easy to use’ ‘I would use the remote access again on an ad-hoc basis as there is real value in attending and networking with SBM colleagues’ If you would like to take advantage of this service, please register for the briefing in the usual way and contact the training team on training@hertsforlearning.co.uk with your Gmail address. Remote access will be charged at £35 (limited to 15 colleagues). Nb. A Gmail address must be provided as the remote access operates via Google hangouts
