Outline
This session will help delegates gain an increased understanding of the financial planning and management issues relevant to primary schools. The trainers will cover: - essential checklist for financial reporting - roles and responsibilities in financial management - producing a strategic financial plan - areas of expenditure and key KPIs - key risk areas in your school’s financial plan - how can you find the funds for what you want to do - strategies for reducing spending - schools Financial Value Standards - latest update in areas affecting schools finance Please note that this session is part of a rolling programme which does not have to be completed in order. However in the past delegates have found it beneficial to attend all sessions in order to make learning connections between topics and to build professional relationships with assistant and deputy headteacher colleagues.
Outcomes:
