The aim of this year’s conference is to raise the profile of the most able disadvantaged pupils who need us most, by hearing from keynote speakers, sharing experiences and participating in a series of workshops. Keynote speakers will be: Daniel Sobel, Founder and Lead Consultant of Inclusion Expert with"Narrowing the attainment gap" Jeremy Spencer, Senior Her Majesty’s Inspector, East of England’ with "Pupil premium: impact and excellence - the Ofsted perspective" Delegates will be invited to take part in a number of workshops including sessions about how to develop supportive and innovative strategies for vulnerable learners, including for those with mental health needs and those looked after, across all phases.
Outcomes:
The aims of the conference are to:
  • raise the profile of these pupils who need us most by hearing from keynote speakers
  • share experiences and participate in a series of workshops
  • To provide leaders in schools and settings with new and fresh ideas to stretch and challenge disadvantaged pupils
