Outline
By attending this introductory course in Microsoft Excel, delegates will quickly acquire the confidence and the skills they need to create meaningful spreadsheets with Microsoft Excel and build strong foundations to pave the way for future learning. Delegates are welcome to attend the afternoon course, Excelling in the workplace - developing your skills.
Prerequisites
The course will be delivered by Anna Varley, who earned Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) Master certification in 2004 and has been designing and running bespoke Microsoft Office training courses within the education, healthcare and corporate sectors for 11 years. Her company, iCan Education, also specialises in STEAM learning and developing innovative, tailored solutions and training to facilitate the integration of iPads and other emerging technologies into classrooms and existing business systems.
Outcomes:
By attending the course participants will:
  • cover a range of keyboard shortcuts and Excel top tips
  • create simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division formulae
  • learn how to generate cumulative totals and balances
  • understand and use the =SUM() function
  • enhance spreadsheets using a range of formatting tools and techniques
