Herts for Learning Online
:: Using the Sports Premium effectively ::
Outline
The PE and Sport Premium is designed to help primary schools improve the quality of the physical education, physical activity and sport that they offer their pupils. Schools are required to publish details of how they spend their PE and Sport Premium funding and show the impact the school has seen on pupils PE and sport participation. Schools are also encouraged to consider how their use of the premium is giving pupils the opportunity to develop a healthy and active lifestyle. Delegates will be able to review their current plans and explore opportunities to maximise outcomes for all pupils. Reporting the impact of the funding is vital and the course will give guidance in how to identify and measure such impact.
