Herts for Learning Online
:: Free PA Plus twilight ::
Outline
Herts for Learning are exploring different ways in which we can support our subscribers. There are a growing number of Luton and Bedfordshire schools who subscribe to PA Plus and we would like to offer a free twilight cluster to support networking and best use of the subscription materials. Advisers from English, maths and assessment will run separate sessions for subject/assessment leaders to share how subscribing schools are using some of the key and/or new documents in the different subjects, look at best practice in using materials to raise standards, let schools know what's coming next and gather their views on what should added to the website next year. Refreshments will be provided. There is no charge but places are limited so please book so that we can provide the appropriate number of resources and refreshments. The sessions are for current subscribers only.
Outcomes:
The aims of the session are to:
  • look at using Models for Writing to support pitch and coverage for spelling, grammar and reading
  • look at how the toolkit can enhance subject leadership and the development of deeper mathematical thinking
  • provide the latest messages around assessment and questions about AM7 reports
Suitable for:
  • Assessment Coordinators
  • Classroom Teachers
Being delivered by Kerry Godsman, David Cook, Ben Fuller and Sally Cort
