:: Great active assessment in Key Stage 2 mathematics ::
Outline
Teachers are detectives in the classroom. They look for clues and plan in rich, active assessment to find out what pupils can do, investigate further and use this information to plan the most important next steps in learning. Knowing what the learning should look like and having a full toolbox of strategies at your fingertips to deepen learning on a daily basis are hallmarks of great practice. Nudging this through daily fluency, reasoning and problem solving opportunities really shows what pupils can do. If this is an important next step for you then join us for a day to develop your range of very practical activities and adaptable ideas even further. This is a brand new course designed and delivered by both the mathematics and assessment teams.
