:: Handling School Complaints ::
This training is aimed at all governors of maintained schools. Whilst based on the HCC model policy, the concept of governors' roles and responsibilities is the same although other model policies may differ in terms of stages within a procedure.

Outcomes

  • to understand the school based complaints procedure
  • to recognise good practice in complaint handling
  • to gain knowledge of the role of the complaints panel

Outline

This session will:
  • identify the principles of good complaint handling
  • share the complaints policy toolkit
  • use the toolkit and relevant papers to work through a scenario

Non-subscribing schools - £50.00 per delegate.

Cancellation of this training event requires 16 working days' notice before a 50% cancellation charge and if we are notified within 5 working days of the course there is a 100% cancellation charge. To cancel please email training@hertsforlearning.co.uk (cancellations will not be received by phone) otherwise:
  • non-subscribers are charged the full cost of the training (£50 per delegate)
  • subscribers are charged £15 per delegate
