This training is aimed at all governors. Whilst based on the HCC model policy, the concept of governors' roles and responsibilities is the same although other model policies may differ in terms of stages within a procedure.
to understand the school based complaints procedure
to recognise good practice in complaint handling
to gain knowledge of the role of the complaints panel
This session will:
identify the principles of good complaint handling
share the complaints policy toolkit
use the toolkit and relevant papers to work through a scenario
