  • To recognise the role and responsibilities of the designated lead person for safeguarding within the children's centre group
  • To develop knowledge of safe staffing and safe recruitment practices in the children's centre group
  • To understand allegations management made against staff and the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
  • To develop knowledge of eSafety, the potential online risks for staff and children and how to 'Stay Safe' online
  • To introduce the "Prevent Duty", from the Counter Terrorism and Security Act 2015, relating to anti-radicalisation
Length of Course 3½ Hours
This course is only suitable for children's centre group managers and those with responsibilities as designated person for safeguarding within the children's centre group. This training course is FREE to attend.
